<p>From your test date, how long do you study for the SAT for? Weeks? Months?</p>
<p>for the sat1 it was about a month for me.. for sat 2 it was only a week.
my sat 2 scores are far better than the sat1 scores.. see the irony :(</p>

<p>It really does take some time. In the Summer I had no clue what to do and looked at the blue book in confusion. After the summer Princeton Review introduced me to ideas I had never thought of like plugging in your own #s and substituting. Then after a lot of practice tests and other books, I’ve really become familiar with the SAT, more specifically with the math section. Some people can become familiar with it in in a month, but sometimes it’s a long term process depending on how familiar you are with it. I would recommend 1-2 months to at least get a 700.</p>
