How do you joke without upsetting the other person? What would you never do?

Not a big problem with me, but I see a lot of my friends get upset over a joke that another friend pulled.

I would never hide another person's stuff.

I don’t take jokes very far, because I see that happen a lot with some of my friends and it doesn’t usually end up well :/

I take ‘em just far enough
to where they’re funny n’ don’t cross the line.

Too far- Someone’s crying/ bleeding/under arrest.

As long as the joke’s still funny. If the other person is worried (where’s my purse with my new ipod in it??), scared, or in trouble, STOP

^ Ditto

Sometimes when the person gets a little agitated, looks embarrassed, stops talking and just stares into space, freaks out, or is about to tell on whoever did something to him/her, I stop.

I just go casual if it is someone I don’t really know. It it is someone I interact often, then I go far.

you have to read the person. If it’s someone who gets mad easily and often, then you don’t take it passed them getting a little irritated. However, if it’s a good friend i will sometimes take it pretty far
