How far is the nearest airport from Vassar?

how long does it take to get to the nearest airport, how good looking is the campus, and how do you think of the school atmosphere? I hope they have good science programs.

dont know, beautiful, dont know, ok...

Stewart airport is about half an hour away, but I fly into/out of JFK.

What town is Stewart airport in, and how long does it take to get to JFK?

Delta flies into Albany - about an hour away if you don't get lost (when there isn't snow)

JFK is somewhat of a hassle. You have to take the train to new york city, then catch the bus that takes you to the airport.

i fly in and out of stewart. its a cute little airport.

Westchsester (White Plains) airport is about 45' away. It now has several of the bigger/major airlines flying into it. I flew in/out of it last week. Its a small, crowded airport, but it was very convenient. Also, check the VC website for transportation info. It'll answer these wuestions for you

Here is a list of which airlines fly into Stewart (in Newburgh) and Westchester (White Plains). Stewart is probably a little closer, but only by maybe 15 minutes. The other opetion, if you have to fly into NY, is, of course, LaGuardia. As for proximity to Poughkeepsie, see these 2. As quirkymom mentioned, there is also Albany, a bigger airport than Westchester and Stewart, but it is a longer drive.
