<p>How far is Cornell's campus to Boston, NYC, the ocean, all the other major cities? is there MRT, train or bus to get there or do you usually go by car? how often do you go?</p>
<p>there are busses to NYC, and airplanes to anywhere, if you're willing to pay the price. Most people fly out of ithaca/syracuse to major airports, or drive.</p>
<p>NYC is like 4 hours by car, Boston is about 5.5, The nearest "beach" aka coastline is about 180 miles (far: i.e. the distance to NYC). There are no major cities besides NYC and Boston in the northeast ;)</p>

<p>I'm gonna take a wild guess but i think MRT is Mass Rapid Transit, or trains.</p>

<p>Somehow I don't enjoy the Ithaca "ocean" as much as the one on the actual coast. I've gone through three umbrellas already.</p>
