How far would you go to get into your top choice?

ew, such a perv.
disgusting

I would do anything, but not that.

I LOVE saying this, because it's true:

MY TOP CHOICE IS MY SAFETY!!!

Boy, aren't I lucky?

That's kind of true for me. I'm basically in at UCLA.

Wah. All the schools around here are mathsci focused, and I'm not, so, safeties are not my top choices!

Haha, you guys are intense.
Would any of you sacrifice a body part? Nails don't count.

Hmmm, maybe the bottom half of my leg. Only if they would give me a cool story to tell. I would hate to go around telling people "I did it to get into Columbia". I'd look kinda crazy.

i’d be willing to cut off a few inches of my hair

I would consider sacrificicing a pinky toe.

i would have someone take off the tip of a finger/toe. i might screw a moderately attractive admin. i’d consider lighting my hair on fire for like 5 seconds :P

i would get a really ugly tattoo

I agree about the tattoo, even a few piercings in necessary.

The problem with all this is that I might get into a few top places anyway. I’d prefer to wait until decisions are out before making sacrifices.

I’d go FAR to go to Caltech…seriously, it’s about 2,978 miles from my house…
But really, I’d just sell my soul to the admissions office. lol.

Sell it? I’d donate it along with 2 pints of blood and a kidney.

Lol yeah, I’d willingly give up my soul to go to an Ivy or Georgetown. School/398954 AP classes has already deteriorated my soul so it wouldn’t be much of a difference.

I’d give 2 kidneys!

Nooooo. Because if everyone went all the way, no matter what that meant, Harvard admissions would be a LOT more competitive than they are. And they’re competitive.

Agree. But not the finger/toe. No body parts I can’t grow back…

Gosh you guys seem to care a lot. So how come on the other threads it’s all, “chill out, so what if you didn’t get in, there are better paths to spiritual fulfillment than prestige”?

^ still all of the above… except for one certain area on body parts.
