How fast do naviance scattergrams update?

i applied early decision to NYU a while back and a few days ago i noticed on the naviance scattergram for NYU for my high school a green early decision dot exactly where my own red dot was (same gpa, same Sat Score)..... could that be me? i dont get my official rejection/admission letter till december 15th....

I'm pretty sure that the green dots are all from previous years. Your spot should be a large red circle (not filled in). At least that's how my high school is.

no what i mean is there is a green early decision dot RIGHT in the center of my large red circle that was not there 3 weeks ago and now it is. i find it kinda hard to believe that someone last year had the exact same GPA/SAT score that got accepted.

hmmm... maybe you should ask your GC about it if you're that worried. And oddly enough, sometimes that stuff happens.

im not worried, im excited!

that's really unlikely to be you. It updates after you receive your own decision.

I was accepted to a school in early October and there still isn't a green square on the scattergram for that school. My school doesn't update until May, I believe.

Is that scattergram for your school? I've logged in a as a guest at Naviance, and scattergrams are not available. How did you get access to the scattergrams?

If Naviance collects information from multiple high schools, it would have numbers dwarfing those available here or other sites such as CollegeData.

the ED dot is not perfectly centered in your red circle therefor it is not you

i think it updates when you say on naviance which schools you got into. I don't think it's possible for your GC or for NYU to alter the graphs so quickly. My naviance is red :P.
