I need to improve my reading score on the June test tomorrow. I never seem to be able to finish with enough time. How fast should I be reading each passage in order to finish the reading section? Any other tips are welcome.

I’m able to accurately answer each section at about 7-8 minutes a passage (including the questions). You have 40 minutes, and 4 passages, so you should spend a max of 10 minutes on each section including reading and answering questions.

You should spend the bulk of that 10 minutes reading the passage ONCE fully and carefully while annotating short comments so you only have to go back and reread for specific questions, making the question portion fly by.

You have 35 MINUTES NOT 40.
I would spend about 8 minutes on each passage and 9 minutes for the prose fiction.
To be honest, I speed read as fast as I can, missing out bunch of details(Otherwise, I cant finish either), but I somehow get most of the questions right.
Good luck
