As I've already mentioned in another thread, I'm interested in getting a BBA but also taking a lot of econ and math courses. So I've been thinking of trying pursue a BBA while simultaneously minoring in econ and math.

From what I've gathered from the Michigan websites I need the following credits :

BBA=45 Business credits ≈ 15 business class (core + electives)
Math Minor= (Calc II and III) + (2 second year math courses) + (3 third year courses) = (25-32 credits)
Econ Minor= (Econ 101 and 102) + (Econ 401 and 402) + (9 credits)=7 classes (25 credits)

So at minimum I can expect this course load to take me around 29 classes and at minimum 95 credits. Assuming 120 credits is the average, I'll only have 25 free credits to study other stuff, which is around 6-8 classes worth of credits.

More likely, I'll probably take around 5 courses a year, which means 40 classes total leaving me only 11 free courses. Don't get me wrong, I like economics, math, and business but I want to study other subjects as well. I'm hoping I can use my free classes to take at least 2 lit classes, 2 philosophy classes, a psych class, an anthropology class, and maybe a physics class.

Exactly how tough will this schedule be? Is it unusual for a student to take 5 course every semester? I want to maintain a high GPA as well. I know this will be tough, but is it overkill? I also know that I'm not the most hardworking of people, but if I can stay focused will this be manageable? (I've found studying with a close group of friends who I can trust not to get off-task helps keep me focused)

Sorry guys I know this was a long post, but can you guys give me some pointers? If I had my way, I would save some of those business classes for a MBA and only take accounting but I really want the recruitment that Ross offers.
