How fit do you see yourself? As it is the case that having a slim appearance doesn't necessarily mean you're healthy or vice versa; and etc.

Me...I guess I see myself as fairly fit, I rarely get sick and I exercise. My height's somewhere between 5'10~5'11, and I'm 140 pounds. A sophomore/15 btw. I've actually only recently exercising/working out seriously, and then this summer I got lazy again. Overall I guess I'm decently fit. My appearance is somewhat obviously lean/muscular and so no one would guess that I...like pokemon, icecream, junk food, and games.

I wasn't actually kidding entirely about the push-ups, by the way. How many pushups can you guys/girls do? Of course, full, correct, the 90 degree angle or whatnot bs ones... And this doesn't just apply to guys. For girls, how many of those girl pushups can you do (the thing you do on your knees, I think...LOL).

I'm fairly weak so I only can do around 40~45 at once, but because of summer I just tried it a while ago and I can't get past like...38 LMAO.

I guess out of boredom, I've rambled and turned this into a general health/appearance/fitness/pushups kind of thing. It's not like I ever care about specifics, so this thread may as well turn general or flexible...whichever way it goes.

I'm thin, but wouldn't call myself extremely "fit." I'm 5'3" and 105-107ish. I play tennis sometimes, but after an hour or so of SERIOUS tennis playing, I'm pretty exhausted and NOT excited about walking up the hill from the courts to my house...
I get sick sometimes [cough... like this weekend... cough.. ouch that was a terrible pun], but not often. I don't "work out" but play sports and such sometimes [like in Ping Pong Club! dhawelkf lol]. I can do like 20 guy pushups and probably an infinite number of girl push ups [which I also think might be the ones done on your knees.. not sure ;D].

How lovely! I'm proportioned the same way as a girl! I'm 5'5" and 105 lbs.

I rarely get sick. I don't really make much of an effort to exercise, but I can run, lift, bike, etc., if I want to do so. I'm usually good for maybe two miles running. After that, I start having problems. I guess I can do something like thirty pushups. But I can also put my hand around my biceps and touch my thumb and middle finger. So I am working with limited resources. Sure, I'd like to be fit, and actually look like a human being, but eh. I have no motivation for physicality whatsoever.

I'm pretty fit. However, I am (unfortunately) far from being thin. I'm tiny in height though (yay 4'9"!) But I exercise a lot. I go on a 2.5 hour walk with my dog (total, split up throughout the day), I bike ride a lot, occasionally I find myself running on my treadmill.

I used to get sick a lot, but now I don't.

I'd like to get in on the above bet... I would need photographic evidence, though, of course ;p

I consider myself to be fairly fit. I haven't done much of anything over the summer, but as the weather cools I'll be going on plenty more hikes, so that should provide me with whatever exercise I need. Stats are ~190 cm or so, ~75 kilos, and 16 years. I can run a couple of miles without much difficulty, and I used to (read: 1-2 years back) be able to do 80-100 pushups, but can now prolly only do 50. Situps used to go up to the hundreds, and I could do a few dozen chinups and a dozen or two pullups.

I also have a really well-balanced diet (where fruits and veggies and good meats are concerned)...

Edit: bah, AND I'm also sick right now (a few people also reported sickness today at school, lol). Damn rhinovirus...

I'm a bit overweight (5'7'', 140), but I'm pretty fit and healthy. I'm one of the faster runners at my school, I can do 40 pushups, and I usually eat a balanced diet.

Pffft, probably... Show us definitive evidence for this, and only then will we (or, rather, I, since I seem to be standing all alone here) will believe you!

[quote=iv again]
I've infected you via internet! I'm sick as well :[

Hmmm, with what symptoms? I've got the tun of the mill cold (sore throat, slight temp, runny nose, slight cough -- I found out that I had it midway up this little mountain near my house -- constricted breathing at a place where I definitely could not have developed it yet was what informed me :/)

Edit: Ooh, I'm posting on google chrome now! Anyone else tried it out yet? Pretty sleek looking, although I miss all my old functionality... and the ctrl+ keys don't seem to work for markup...

i'm.....average?
i dunno
i worked out during the summer
i'm 5'9" and i weighed around 152
but now i'm still 5'9" and i only weigh 145 which means i lost like 7 pounds of muscle....ouch!
i should go back...
and the number of push ups don't matter.....if you're skinny you can still do 30 easily no matter how weak you are
if you're heavy, it doesn't necessarily mean you're unfit but you'll do less b/c your arm's won't support your weight

Uh, we are facebook friends, I believe... lol. Although my pictures on there are all rather silly and very old.

ME TOO! Crazy! lol. I don't have much of a temperature though, I never do. But everything else is the same. Which is weird considering we're like a billion miles away from each other.

oh, sorry everyone else, for, once again, hijacking a thread.

I tried Google Chrome, and I determined that it's a good browser for the casual user. I'm an Internet fanatic, and I find it impossible. I found no way to turn off the history, and I can't adjust all my other settings. It doesn't offer enough options. Other than that, it seems to work well. I'll be going back to Firefox.

I'm not providing any photographic evidence. You're just going to have to take my word that I'm an extremely skinny dude. Yay, 28" waist.

^ Me too. There is no such thing as an off-topic thread!

My most recent ex was extremely skinny and it was weird... I don't like weirdly skinny people. [not saying that JB is "weirdly skinny", just a random thought]

@IV: Lol, but I've already looked at* all of those, and saw nothing that would give me, erm, any clear indication**... but nvm:

it seems like you win by forfeit :p

On the topic of google chrome, it does seem like I'm missing alot because of the incompatibility of all my plug-ins... the "one process per tab" feature looks promising, though -- I have like 20 tabs open at all times and that tends to give me a rather considerable degree of slow-down...
