how frequent is "no error" correct?

the people at princeton review told me that there are around 1 "no error" answer for every 4 to 5 questions...

well for the BB practice test #1 section 7 (which is a writing section) there were 18 error ID questions but only TWO of them were "no error"!

so should i continue to rely on princeton review's advice? or was it complete trash?

It really depends. But always count on at least 1-2 on the writing section.
If a sentence is weirdly worded and you can't find anything wrong with it, chances are it's "No Error"

yeah about 1/6th of the time

There is 2-4 in the long writing section.
