<p>I heard somewhere that if your counsler can write you a glowing rec you take it over any teacher... is this true. Is see where the person is coming from when I heard this. A counsler deals with so many kids and has to write something about everyone. If he/she will write something for you that is extra special (lol) do you take it in a heartbeat???</p>

<p>I think if a college asks for a teacher rec, they want someone who has actually taught you. Don't most colleges require a separate counselor recommendation as well? Maybe you could send an extra counselor recommendation along with your teacher recs..?</p>
<p>Also, you need to calm down. You ask a lot of questions that are sometimes repetitive and self-explanatory. Don't freak out so much about college apps. You're going to give yourself a heart attack.</p>
