<p>My name is Zach, and I'm currently in 9th grade at private school in South Florida. I'm applying to Exeter, Deerfield, Choate, Milton, and Andover as a repeat 9th grader. I just can't wait to receive my letters, so I was just wondering how good of a chance that I might have.</p>

Algebra 2 honors- 92%
Human Geography AP- 84 :o
French 2 Honors- 90%
English 9 Honors- 88%
Biology- 95%</p>
<p>SSAT total score of 2142</p>
<p>Sports: Ice Hockey, lacrosse</p>
<p>So far, my top two schools are Exeter and Choate, and I've received these letters from the coaches:</p>

<p>Choate- hank you for the email and update on Zach. I want you to know that he is my top rated ninth grade applicant in terms of hockey as well. Our 9th grade is very difficult to get into, but if he is serious about us then that is important. I will be pushing hard with admissions to give him a strong look. I was impressed by him as a person and really like his hockey ability too. Please stay in touch and let me know how he is doing and thank you for reaching out.</p>
<p>I'm just wondering how good my chances are because I don't believe that I did extremely well on the SSAT, only scoring in the 74 percentile, and from what I've seen the average at those schools is 90.</p>

this is just what I think but don’t trust what I say, I am only a fellow applicant… but i believe you have a decent chance at Choate because of hockey, they are really big on it… but again, most people that apply to Choate apply and are good at hockey so idk</p>
<p>I don’t chance but I have to respectfully disagree with yankee (sorry yankee) I`m also an athlete and was courted by coaches. My letters and emails were nice but not so flattering so Zach they must really like you. I hope you get in your first choice.</p>
<p>i have a friend who was ‘recruited’ for hockey by exeter too, and the coach and her got along really well, but she ended up waitlisted because of the FA (financial aid). the season was 2009 though, so the economy was really really bad at the time.</p>
<p>as for you, i don’t chance but that looks really nice from choate and exeter, they’re your best bets right now. your other ECs are kind of lacking but if you can get recruited, well… best of luck!</p>
<p>I have a question, would you consider being German, living in Germany Spain Austria and the US, and talking German Spanish English, and some french a hook ?</p>
<p>U have very little EC’S, although ur ssat is amazing (I can not speak of that for me) and your grades are good except for ur human geo … U dont have any academic extra-curriculars… Can you chance me ?</p>
<p>Well, I have hockey and lacrosse, I’ve played the piano for a few years, and I’m interested in learning the guitar. In hockey I’ve made the USA National Development camp (only 8 players selected from each district), I’ve been selected for East Coast Selects to play in a World Invite tournament in Moscow. Not sure what else i should put?</p>
