How Good Are You at Guessing?

This is for a student who has already received decisions to the universities. We're trying to test how well this board can evaluate. After a good "sample size" has guessed, I'll post results (I'm not doing anything statistically sound, it's just a general estimate). If you want, evalute how sure your guess is on a 1-10 scale (IE. Accepted to Chicago - 10 (very sure))

During his sophomore year he self-studied our school's precalculus course and got As on both semester finals, so skipped the class and moved onto Calc BC junior year. Senior year did a school-sponsored independent study class of number theory, of which he made a short summary/abstract.

Septupled his money in the stock market within few weeks after he became 18. Don't know if this mattered, but he had it in additional information.

Pretty great essays, had even better recommendations.

Lets give it a go

Wash U in St. Louis 10
Harvard 7
Yale 8
Princeton 7
Dartmouth 7
Stanford 9

Bump? I thought more people would want to see a thread with results.

University of Chicago - 10
Wash U in St. Louis - 10 (but they might have waitlisted you in typical WashU fashion)
Harvard - 5
Yale - 6
Princeton - 6
Dartmouth - 8
Stanford- 8

I think you got into Chicago, Dartmouth, Stanford, and 1/3 of HYP. I think there is a decent chance you got Waitlisted by WashU because that is how they roll (i.e. not accepting people who they think will go elsewhere. IF you did get in w/o WL there is a good shot you got a half/ full scholarship).
(Not stating safety schools)

I wish I was as good as you…

Could anyone plz help me out, its my first ever post, and I need some advice.

University of Chicago - 10 (BOOTH!!!)

Scale: take score and multiply by 10%. This is the chance of getting into school.

You are from IMSA or northrigde, am i correct?

IMSA with a gymnastics team? Haha, no. Maybe I shouldn’t have said “one of the best”, it’s “one of the better ones” (rated in top 10, I believe).

Wash U in St. Louis- in (7)
Harvard- in (5)

Yale: Accepted
Princeton: Waitlisted
Dartmouth: Accepted

One more boost?

you got in all of them

You should probably just show the results now. You’re not going to get many more replies and I’d kinda like to know how people really stack up in top admissions offices.

It seems like you’re right, Wheretogo. Alright, I’ll make this the last bump. Haha, will guesses increase if I say that I’ll chance back?
