Someone asked for SAT I’s:

He wasn’t too proud of them, from what I remembered. He said he got a:
690 CR
760 M
750 W

He didn’t say if he sent them in or not.

Alright. Looks like no one’s too interested, haha.

I am curious though, do you think if he did send in his SAT it hurt him? It’s a 2200, but he has an ACT that translates to a 2300+ score…

One death revival.

Interesting ill give it a go! post results soon!

I think many of these schools really like to see SAT scores, which he never sent. Looking at Princeton’s results, the ‘no CEEB scores’ (meaning ACT only) was around 5-6% acceptance, while the 2100-2299 range was almost double that. I know the group numbers differentiate (and thus percents are skewed), but it really does seem to me that they prefer SATs is some ways. I could be wrong, but I think it’s because they take the testing samples for both into account. No matter, he’s happy.

I think I’m going crazy but I remember seeing your name in U of C forum. Feel as though you were accepted… but I’m losing my mind due to senioritis so…

by the way I love you CC name (supposing it’s from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”

ah sorry I didn’t look at the second page before I chanced. woops!

It most certainly is from It’s Always Sunny. Fantastic show.

Bump for question about the SAT score. I’ve become fairly curious about it.
For those who want to answer but not look for it:

Person mentioned in topic post had a 2200 SAT, but was not sent. Would it have helped/hurt him?

I think it would have helped; it would have showed consistency and not that the ACT was just a fluke, like you said, top tier colleges like SATs more than ACTs no matter what they say
