<p>im applying to uc's for fall 2012 and i was wondering how good does an upward trend look on an app?? do i need to point it out on my personal statement or do uc's look for it??</p>
<p>Currently applying to Davis, Berkeley, LA, and SD.

i went from a 2.0 to a 3.3 over the course of my cc while working full time (two jobs at one point as well)
over 300 hrs of community service including coordinator of books for africa at my school
also member of honor society and Philosophical society.
Rough upbringing.</p>
