How good does fin aid get?

Well, on the 2004 IRS tax forms, we had an adjusted gross income of about 8000, and 12,000 for 2005. That plus the fact that we didn't own a house (was living on church property last year as my dad's a pastor, but we moved last month to a house), but the housing benefit was calculated into the equation as 16,000 in "benefits", etc.

I'm not really sure how, but we look really poor on paper. What I think it is... is that my parents are willing to spend extra money to make life easier for me and give me an upperhand - the best lifestyle they can afford me. Thus I have my own car, computer, etc. But we are 40,000 in debt, and... yeah...

So colleges give me tons of money. Hopkins gave me about 44,000, too. All I have to pay for is plane tickets, "personal expenses", and books. I'm completely satisfied... it's almost unreal.
