I'm an international student and I've been recently accepted to GaTech's College of Engineering (undeclared). Thus, I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me how good of a university this is, and the possiblities of internships and research. Also, are there many supports for international students such as internship opportunities? how's the workload? I've read so many complaints about the harshness of grading and curve, which worries me alot.

Tech is always ranked in the top ten in the USA for engineering. In the opinion of many, it is either #1 or #2 for state-supported schools and, maybe, the best value for the tuition.

It is a very good, hard school. Relatives like to say if you want a degree that will get you a good job, go to gt. and their coop, internships and study abroad is widely used and has a lot to offer. I believe large companies like Coke do internships with tech. I think some kids have interned at Nasa.

Tech has a better international study program than any state school that I looked at. You can either go to other schools or can go international at the end of the school year with Tech profs for credit.
