I was directly admitted to Kelley but I have also been admitted to other schools, is Kelley that good of a school or is it just like the rest of indiana?

Very funny question but I digress.....I am thinkin you meant to ask "or is it just like the rest of IU" would that be correct? Kelley is ranked but not knowing what other schools/programs you are looking at tough to give you an answer. Certainly is doesn't compare to Penn/Wharton but if you can go for free maybe you don't care.......

I don't want to try and convince someone that a school is good, because I don't feel that prestige is a good enough indicator of the type of education you will receive.

Yes, Kelley is probably one of the best programs at Indiana. I know that the Music school is also highly regarded. Indiana is a fantastic school. You get to experience so many things at a school like Indiana that you wouldn't at any ivy league school, or any upper level private. The Little 500 bicycle race. Big Ten Sports. Hoosier Basketball.

Indiana treats it's Kelley students well. Look at all the scholarship oppurtunities for a Kelley student. The price you pay is a fraction (or maybe even free) compared to other business schools of it's caliber. It's ranked as the 11th best undergraduate business school, but it's been falling, and much of the falling may be due to marketing of other schools, and Indiana's lack of marketing. It has all of it's major business programs in the top 10 according to US News, and some in the top 5.

It really depends on what you want. I know i'm wasting my time with a lot of people because they are ivy-obsessed, and don't realize how much money an ivy league school costs, the small difference in the education, the difficulty in the classes, and the experiences you will have that won't match an ivy school.
