I am a transfer-admit to UR and have been focusing on Pre-Medical coursework and have almost all of it finished, but just in case I change my mind and decide to go to law school -- what does UR have to offer in that category?

I hear mixed opinions about the Poli-Sci program (almost all agree that the grad program is great, but undergrad seems to go both directions).

Does UR have good Pre-Law advising / support? Internships in related areas?

I see that they have an 88% law school admissions rate, which is good, but any idea what law schools (or at the very least what tier) students are going to?

Any background information would be great, even things I did not mention!

You need to look in the law school section on CC. The answers about law school are there.

Bottom line is that you need to get good grades and score well on the LSAT. That’s it. You can take whatever you want, do whatever you want and it boils down to the LSAT. If you want to go to a top ranked law school, then you need to score high on your LSAT. That’s the system. It’s not a great system but that’s the system.

Please actually read my question if you are going to answer. I asked nothing about getting in to a law school, I am very well versed in that process. All of my questions were specifically about the University of Rochester, and what resources it has to offer undergraduate students interested in law.

Regardless, thank you for noticing my post, hopefully this will pull some attention towards my topic!
