How good is SDSU's business program?

I would like to know please lol

What is your criteria for a “good” business program? The majority of Freshmen applicants apply to the many Business Majors in the Fowler College of Business and some majors especially Accounting is highly competitive. SDSU has a strong alumni Network especially in local business.

@Gumbymom I actually saw a post of yours that said their business program was #5 in california…? I didnt know how to reply to that post, but do you know where that ranking comes from?

@FireDogg: I believe it was US News that listed SDSU as #5 for International Business (Undergrad) for public schools.

@Gumbymom ohhhh international business oof. Well otherwise, how respected would u think a normal business degree from the school would be? I know it’s got a big party rep so…

The overall Business program is well respected but it cannot compare to the big names such as Marshall at USC or Haas at UCB. Regarding the party school rep, that was 20 years ago but the stigma still persists. A resourceful student can find a party anywhere so any school can be a “party” school.

@Gumbymom yeah I’d like to transfer to Econ at UCB(very unlikely) or shoot for Haas MBA(also super unlikely). Guess I’ll see how things go… ?‍♂️

After a few years of work experience, your Undergrad school will not make a huge difference when applying for an MBA program.
