How "good" is the neurology program?

I've always wanted to be a psychiatrist, so now I'm wondering how to pick between schools. I've decided it's come down to UC Irvine, UC San Diego, and New York University.

I'm leaning towards NYU, partly because they have their own Center for Neural Studies, and partly because it's in New York City (I went down there. It was awesome).

But aside from what it says on the Center website, I'm not sure how NYU's neural science program (for undergrads) stacks up against the other two. I know that chances are that SD is the best, but is it a mindblowing degree of betterness, or are the levels somewhat somewhat comparable?

If it helps, I also care about being taught by faculty (not so much TA's) and research opportunities for undergrads.

So can somone please help me out and earn my eternal gratitude?

I actually learn more from my TAs than my professors. Some professors are pretty bad at teaching and TAs offer a good backup. The professors do make good advisors for research but you will have to connect directly to them. NYU provides some funding for research.
