So you need to be recruited or could I walk on? How high is the level of competion? I was a Varsity starter in High School, but I never went to State, and do not have a USTA ranking, do I still have a reasonable chance?

Our men's team is pretty good. I think they would take a walk on though. Contact the coach for details.

I am planning on trying out for the girls team. I think the guys team has only lost one match and have 3 freshmen starters

I'm playing mens tennis next year, was recruited, and I think im gonna start at like #2 or #3 position. I think the top of the lineup is very solid but I know there are people on the team who practice and sometimes can get worked into matches. Good luck

Do you know what the lineup for the tennis team is? For my league it changed from 4 singles, 3 doubles, to 3 singles, 2 doubles.

Yeah I'm pretty sure its 6 singles players and then 3 doubles teams. Also, all the players play both singles and doubles so its basically like only 6 people playing per match.

Do you like the kenyon coach?

Yeah hes awesome and I'm sure if you emailed him or called him he'd be more than happy to answer all your questions.
His email is thielkes@kenyon.edu in case you don't have it.

Thanks for his email. Im not sure if im going to tryout next year or not. ARE you playing singles or doubles next year?
