How good is their engineering?

<p>The [FAMU-FSU</a> College of Engineering](<a href=“http://www.eng.fsu.edu/]FAMU-FSU”>http://www.eng.fsu.edu/) is staffed mostly (~80%) with faculty and students from [Florida</a> State](<a href=“http://www.fsu.edu/]Florida”>http://www.fsu.edu/), also located in Tallahassee. Recent (2008, as I recall) US News graduate rankings had the joint e-school ranked slightly behind UCF’s e-school, but ahead of other state programs. It is ranked third in Florida, currently. FSU alumni (like me) think the joint program should be split, since FAMU still wants to do the HBCU stuff as opposed to national and international excellence as FSU works towards, including AAU admission.</p>

<p>Didn’t bother applying I was looking into FSU but I don’t have the language requirement so I didn’t bother applying either.</p>
