<p>Private trackers are torrent clients which need registeration prior to their use.
Most private trackers have too many seeders, and hence they are available for only the privilaged ones ( registered ones )</p>

<p>There’s a lot of private trackers I’ve been on that require registration but wasn’t really that exclusive. I just registered and used their torrents… I mean there were almost no peers, just seeds…Fast seeds. </p>

<p>It was mostly just tv shows though. I don’t even remember the tracker name, they just show up on torrent search engines as password protected trackers.</p>

<p>Dont use Bit Torrent at a dorm…great way to get caught since its peer 2 peer…plus your going to slow down the network for everyone…</p>

<p>Use Rapidshare or Usenet…I was getting 2 mb/s at UCSB dorms…and you can’t get caught because it is not peer 2 peer.</p>

<p>i stopped using rapidshare when they limited the downloads to 2 gigs a day… i download at least 5 gigs/day!</p>
