How good is USC with Fin aid?

Ok, right now, its either USC or OU (university of Oklahoma (instate) for me.

Ou's pretty cheap to start out with so i'll only owe around 4000 a year which isnt so bad (compared to everybody's loan at nyu: 30000... i hear from people who's been accepted there)

and that's not even final so i don't completely know it yet. I know they are giving me 1750 in scholarship (its tiny but its a public school so you can't expect too much) and 2500 in tuition waver, etc.

I really want to goto USC and pretty set on it. SO i want to know from people who went there or already got their fin aid back...

I'm not a california resident so i can't receive CAL grant... I didn't sign up for any USC scholarships (although i signed up for others... i was over the deadline) so i'm not getting any of that either.

My parents technically make $0 just because they are out of country. (cough) In reality, my father (he's the only one who works.. his job as a pastor kind of forbids my mother from working. but she worked for 10 years so...) makes 38000. He also supports my bro who's going to Cornell. (although he gets most of it from scholarships and grants.) but two kids in expensive colleges is going to be a HUGE burden.

Assuming my father makes 38K and USC knows it, do you think i can get most of it covered? I CANNOT let the loans go over 10,000 or i'll have my entire life to pay off the damn loan. I really don't want to stay instate either...

yep, at 38k I'll bet your fafsa EFC would be low, probably even $0... I wouldn't worry.

My parents are giving me some and i'm pretty sure church is paying for 3000 dollars or something...(one of the benefits, i think...) but no, EFC's not much...;_; plus we have 3 different household thing going with me living in OK, my parents living in Korea, my bro living in NY... its so screwed up.
