I really like Pitzer and could definitely see myself going there, but am worried that their aid won't be as generous as other schools. The average package for my income bracket (according to their site) wasn't enough to make it affordable, so I am debating whether or not to apply. I already have a fairly lengthy list, but if there's a chance that Pitzer will be affordable, I want to give it a go. So how did your aid from Pitzer compare with other schools'?

Pitzer covered about half my costs initially, which was more or less representative of all the other financial aid packages I received from other schools, including Leigh, Skidmore, Brandies, and Umiami (UMaimi gave slightly more). This was because of an issue with my FAFSA and CSS where the income of my parents were drastically changed after I applied. I communicated the problem to the schools that accepted me, and all of them changed their aid packages accordingly. I paid around 6000 a year for Pitzer.
And keep in mind, this was about 6 years ago, Pitzer endowment has only increased.

Thank you for responding! Anyone else?
