how hard are AP tests?

AP tests are so hard they make you cry.

bump (sorry i had to repost this cuz some idiot posted that comment above me and i was afraid no one would see my post)

i just took a practice MC test for the Chem exam...i got 47 right, 18 wrong, and 10 omits..........is that good??? what score would that translate to???

i also took the AP US practice test MC.....i got 48 right, 24 wrong, and 8 omit

I'm sorry smder. I'll stop being a normal teenager.

Man smder, you don't have to be such a meanie. Just post it in a separate thread!

APs really vary depending on which one you're taking and where your academic talents lie.

I'm good at English so my English AP's were a cinch, whereas Physics was incredibly hard for me (although others found it easy).

USH was actually pretty easy last year (I think). Just know your stuff and make sure to review a lot in the two weeks or so before the test so stuff will be fresh in your brain.

Chem's pretty easy too, as long as you know the basics. The rest is just logic and working out the problem.

Haha blondie that was funny!

Lovelines, any tips for writing the essay for USH (not the DBQ part, but the other portion)?

Just know your facts. If you look at the scoring guide, it doesn't matter how pretty your essay sounds. You just need to hit the main points that they were looking for. The tricky part is explaining them to a degree that they think you know what you're talking about.

The essay part is, I think, easier than the MC because you can usually figure out what they want you to say. Plus, you can look online to check the past tests and what type of Q's they ask.

Good luck in May! =)

For some reason, it scares me. I don't know if I know enough to fill in the blank nearly half-way. I looked at one question, and I had no idea. nervous
