How hard are Studio Art Minor classes at Bama?

Hey all! I was wondering if anyone was a Studio Art Minor at Bama, I was thinking of adding one (currently going into my junior year) but wanted to know how difficult the classes were and if anyone liked it! I’m mostly interested in Ceramics and Painting.

My questions are:

  • How difficult is it to get an A in these courses? (specifically things like Ceramics, Drawing I, 2D Design, Painting etc).
  • How much of a time commitment are the courses (have you had to work extensively outside of class time/would taking more than 2 studio art classes at once be a bad idea?)
  • Any favorite professors/classes within the minor?

Thanks all:)
