easy medium or hard. and how generous will the curve be?

I thought the critical reading section was medium. I’m praying for a good curve!

I felt that it was 8/10 maybe. I took the June one and I thought it was about the same as this one; people thought the June one was hard as well. I got -9 and got 690 so we might have a generous curve this time.

It was alright. I’m just terrible with vocab so I’m stuck in the high 600s low 700s

Perfect with vocab, but ehhhh on the rest. I think I kind of spaced, but whatever.

easy-medium for me but I got a 780 in march so I’m not a good source

Wayyyy harder (especially vocab wise) than the BB tests >_<

I just hope I increases at least 20 points from my 630 in May because I read the BB and improved on practice passage-based reading questions. It’s just that they had questions with hard vocab in the SC AND in the Passage Based (tone) so I missed a lot :(

Harder than May/Jan 2011 tests but not the hardest…the nuclear power Walden short passages roomate passages were not easy and the vocab was fairly average…

Thought it was much easier than the last 5 Online CB tests.

Every test has been easier than the Online CB tests >_< Those are old SATs(pre-2005)…the old SAT required a lot more intuition and had much harder vocabulary. I made 750s easily with the new sat but with the old one I struggled to get above a 700 :/

Very easy, but hopefully the seniors who aren’t good at SAT will weigh down the scores, so maybe the curve will be a medium curve

^ how much do people required to take them before college apps weigh it down? I’m wondering because it might be valid.

I felt like the vocabulary was hard but the reading was easy.

Vocab was extremely easy… Words included “commoners” and “edify”

@13dwang, it could be the other way around. Seniors who did bad the first time in the spring decide to take it again having practiced. Their scores usually go up. That could ruin the curve.

Vocabulary was really easy except the tone questions. People looking to take the SAT in the near future should look up lists of tone words ;). Those in AP English Lit are really good. For example,
Smirking humorous qualms
Sneering sardonic trepidation
Derisive flippant intimidation
Icy cynical

are all good words to know for the next SAT. just saying.

vocabulary was pretty easy. in fact the vocabulary in the experimental section for me was a lot harder than in the real sections

Is this the Critical reading international ?

The curve is predetermined. Who takes the test does not have any effect on your score.

There were some tricky passage questions. I thought vocab was easy.
