through 9-11 grades I slaved. 12th grade 1st semester.. i slacked a little but for the most part I worked hard...2nd semester... eh..chronic senioritis....

yeah my HS claims to be so top and among the most elite public in the nation bc many kids go to IVY leagues and top schools... however around 70% go to COMMUNITY COLLEGE! and therefore in general the school requires doing little to no work even in AP courses

i can't study either...lol i usually study for tests on the bus in the morning. november and december were the hardest i've ever worked in my life. sats, college apps, and tons of homework all came at once. right now, though, i'm kind of slacking and coasting toward graduation...i just don't care.

the stress is OVER! :)

i don't start doing things till 12ish, but i do finish all of my work (4 hours of sleep on weekdays). i don't even know what the heck i wasted all that time doing. most likely lounging around...

i did my science fair project the night before it's due, and someone in my school actually did it at the fair before the judges came...i was amazed.

hahah same here toothpickforest.

I have absolutely no idea how I don't do anything until 11 or 12ish.
just watch TV, eat, chat online, surf on CC and other websites... and bam, its 12 o'clock.

I didnt solve a single practice paper from the day I registered for the SAT till the very day before the SAT. and this was over a month of time lol.

I imagine most of you are probably pretty intelligent and don't need a terrible amount of pre-preparation to be successful.

procrastination? you've seen nothing until you've seen the procrastination thread in the Penn subforum.

But, um, I don't do work. I havent all year. That's why God created mandatory filler classes.

^^ that thread took me like forever to read...long threads are fun tho

imo many people (including myself) are somewhat proud of their procrastination abilities, as if diligence makes you seem dumb or something. that's quite sad cuz the greatest geniuses always worked hard as hell. i guess it's a high school thing lol

I'll do this on a 1-10 scale (10 representing me actually putting forth my best effort)

Freshman Year: 4
Sophomore Year: 6
Junior Year: 9
Senior Year- Sept.-Nov: 10
Senior Year- End of Nov.-Jan: 9
Senior Year- Feb: 6

My plans for the rest of senior year: 5 and steadily declining as the months roll by.

Hhehehe you know what I hate I hate people that procrastinate and brag about how much they don't study but when they get a B it's like " OMG I GOT A B I'M NOT GOING IVY LEAGUE" and then i tell them no you're not hahhaha but do i work hard hahahha well pretty yeah let's see i don't have a car and i go to a magnet high school but I have a free period but I was in IB and I did work hard but last semester i studied sooo haard for my midyr. report for USC and i've never studied that hard in my high school career but now I don't work as hard since I only have 5 classes

try punctuation. It's good stuff.

I read that post in my mind and had to take a breath lol.

lol

joyce writes like that, should sue him for murder. =)

as in "The" famous writer Joyce? Blasphemy! :)

not entirely. Ulysses killed me, portrait almost did :) and faulkner kills too.

Art of procrastination, eh? Something It wouldn't hurt me to master.

Avg Amount of Sleep (Weekdays only):
Frosh Year: 7
Soph Year: 6
Junior Year: 4
Senior Year S1: 3

Naturally, I am devoting the remainder of my high school life to making up for all those lost hours of sleep.

Sleep hours:

gr 9: 10+
gr 10: 8-10
gr 11: 7-9
