<p>....To land a job, summer program or internship with a corporate firm? Doesn't have to be the big names, but i'm just wondering how hard would it be with a non-business degree, such as political science, philosophy, etc.</p>
<p>it all depends (i think, no expert though) on GPA, what school you come from, past experience, interview, connections…regardless it seems pretty damn difficult.</p>
<p>Nothing in this economy is easy but it would be easier to get a position with a corporate firm (such as Medco, Amex, P&G, Verizon etc - there are many), than to get a job/internship in investment banking. As skateboarder says it depends on your Resume etc but its worth pushing and thinking about who you know in management positions at these firms to pass on your Resume. Ultimately, where there is a will there is a way! Good luck</p>
