This December I plan on taking the World History and English Lit tests. I'm also considering taking the Biology test too. I took Biology in 9th grade (am now in 11th) and excelled at it. Is the Bio test easy enough that I could do well with just Bio I took two years ago and some intense studying?

OR, I am taking AP Biology this year, and it would make sense to take the Bio subject test after this year, but scheduling-wise it would be easier to go ahead and take it this December.

What should I do? Take it in December, or wait until after AP Bio?

What I’ve been told, some of the AP Biology material is on the test. Students who usually score high on the AP exam usually do really well on the SAT Subject test, like 700+. Most people take it after the AP exam. If you’re willing to take in December, do it, but you would have to study hard though. Good Luck.

Yeah, I’d do it after you finish AP bio. A lot of material is still covered after December, and freshmen bio doesn’t go anywhere near the detail you need to know for the SAT II test, especially since you took it 2 years ago.

Thanks for all the input.

Actually, to be honest Biology II mostly requires memorization.
I took it during the beginning of my sophomore year, i’m going to be a rising junior.
And all I did was buy the Barron’s Review Book and studied over the summer, but devoted at least 3 hours in total per week, made myself some flash cards.
I barely learned ANYTHING during my freshman year of biology, my teacher mainly did regents stuff & group projects.
I ended up scoring a 720! So all in all, do not stress out.
