<p>How hard is CS in the College of Natural Sciences? Someone posted that they fail 50% - PLEASE tell me that's not true!!!!</p>
<p>I looked into this too. The 1st CS course had a failure rate last fall of 30.5%, according to this syllabus posted for it this semester. There are several other courses you must pass before applying to the full major. So, around 50% who start the pre-CS major don’t make it is probably right.</p>

<p>i would recommend you start out with 12 credits your first semester and study study study…learn the core basics first and then see about catching up…</p>
