How hard is EE42? What about Math 54?

Im wondering about the difficulty/workload level of EE42. It's 3 units, so I don't imagine the workload to be as much as a full blown CS class. But how hard, overall is it? How much physics is needed? It seems EE42 lists only MAth1b as a prereq, whilst EE40 requires Phys 7B. Are the classes THAT different as to have such different prerequisites? My understanding is that EE42 is slightly less in depth compared to EE40, but thats only "slightly."

Also, is EE43, the lab section, worthwhile?

What about Math 54? How difficult would you say it is? I'm no math whiz but I study hard and I'm not terrible at math either.

Just some questions I'm considering as I build up my schedule for fall.

What is ur major?
54 is hard, in general. But it depends on what type of Math are you good at? Math 54 is the class that you will be introduced abstract ideas of Math, like space, linearly independent, transformations and more...
I like it a lot. A lot of my friends who are EECS major and considerably good at Math struggle through the abstract of it.
About 40, 42, I don't really know. But I think they are very similar. Of course, EE40 is for EECS major... So it will be more in depth. About Physics 7B... Hmm... Taking it before 40 is not a bad idea... Since I don't think you learn Phasor in High School.
