How hard is grading at AU? How hard is it to do REALLY good? Is it tough?

How hard it is to get good grades, or how hard is it to do really good? Two different things, TheWalrus. If you are capable, you should be able to do the latter anywhere.

Umm..

Can anyone answer this for me?

TheWalrus,

I think it is safe to say that you really won’t know until you get here. Any combination of a rough schedule, poor/great professors, challenging/easy course of study, etc. will affect your grades.

I suppose if you are speaking about classes specifically, I would say that the school can be as challenging as you want it to be. If GPA is most important to you, you can certainly choose professors and classes that will almost guarantee an “A”. However if you are more concerned with challenging yourself, you will of course be working a lot harder to make grades. I would say that it is moderately difficult to do “really” (what exactly is really well?). Again, this depends entirely on your course of study, class choice, personality, etc.
