<p>Yeah, that's basically my question, How hard it is for someone from NY to get in compared to a Virginian. According to what I've heard in my school, getting in is "impossible"...how true is that?
I'm a hispanic female, my GPA is 91 (unweighted) 97 (weighted) do any of you guys have any idea?</p>
<p>Getting in from out of state is much more difficult than getting in instate. The overall acceptance rate for out of state applicants is ~30%, but that includes athletes and legacies (who are given instate treatment in admissions). If you want to be advised on your chances, you're going to need to provide more information.</p>
