I am undecided as of now, but thinking that I may want to major in Business. If I get into the Business school, how hard would it be to change into the College? And whats easier to get into, the college or the business school?

I asked about this during my interview and my interviewer said that it is almost impossible. It goes all of the way up to the president of the university and you need a very good reason.

Thats quite upsetting... as I do not know if I want to get a degree in business. Especially since, as I have heard, many people with business degrees can not find jobs.

its very possible you could major in something other than business, but still take business school courses.

amandrew, thats not true.it is pretty simple to change schools.
i am currently in the college (08) and am transferring to the business school. your info is pretty in accurate...i know many people who transfer..most people transfer from college to sfs and also to msb...but it varies

Carrera- I talked to a Gtown student at length the other day about this very topic, and he assured me it's not difficult at all. The only time it takes a little work is if you want to switch into the SFS.

Don't worry. I strongly suspect that you won't have any problems, especially switching INTO the College.

Thanks guys... any word on what is easier to get into? The college or the school of business?

Business is easier to get into. One one of the other threads, someone posted the statistics for EA: the acceptance rate at the College and SFS were both 21%, and the school of business was 25%
