How hard is it to double major?

So I'm thinking about double majoring in Interactive Entertainment and Creative Writing. My IE major is pretty hard on its own but I really don't want to abandon writing. How hard is it to double major at SC, and, alternately, is it easy enough to do a major/minor?

Flintlock, check the USC website–I did not think CLAS offered a Creative Writing major in undergrad. They offer a Professional Writing major for a masters.

It is easy enough to do a major/minor or even double major at USC–they encourage it. The issue becomes how many units each major requires. Some, like the SCA majors, have larger unit requirements–and added to your GE requirements, that often leaves less room/time for another major in four years. However, if you are bringing a lot of AP credits (USC permits a max of 32 units–8 AP classes times 4 units) you could be in better shape.

The question most students need to answer is: how important is it to have get a 2nd major or minor, when you are permitted to take classes from the entire catalog anyway? You can check the USC catalog online to see all the requirements for each major/minor. To graduate USC, you’ll need 128 units, so check out how much you can squeeze in. :)

Film P and minor in Computer Science. If I do CS, then I can have a “real job” to support me while I try to get into industry. What do you think?

You can major in creative writing; I think they just call it English with a concentration on Creative Writing.
