I am going to college at a big university and im afraid I will have much trouble finding my classes. Is it really that bad?

Well since most people move in before the first day of classes, you could always spend a little time walking around to whatever buildings your classes are in before the first day.

My first college was amazingy small so it was very easy. I’m going to a new bigger college and will be spending an hour there running through my schedule so I know where things are, because I don’t like being lost.

Most upper classmen won’t have a problem helping you. Theres many freshmen who have asked me where a building was and I kindly showed them the way. Theres also staff/professors every where and campus maps. It shouldn’t be awful.

When you arrive on campus and meet your roommate, you could ask if he/she would like to join you on a walk around the campus. The two of you should bring your schedules and explore where your classes are going to be held. It’s a great way to break the ice when you get to campus

Also, don’t feel silly about asking for directions. Upper classmen remember what it was like as a freshman and most will be happy to help you out.

You should explore the campus the day you move in and stuff. Look at your schedule and bring a map with you and find where your classes are. That way you won’t be too lost on the first day. I remember my first day I was running around campus with a map because I completely forgot how to get to the class. And don’t be too hesistant to ask people where buildings are and stuff. It’s not embarrassing to ask because upperclassmen probably remember getting lost a few times back then.

dude just explore the school a few days before classes start. you’ll be nervous for a day or two but literally after 1 week it’s routine.

Just check them out beforehand.

You will need a GPS and a first aid kit in case you get lost

The day before class you should go explore…find where your classes…then draw your path with spray paint so you won’t forget.

i go to a very large university, and just looking at map on my computer before i leave i can get there without a problem…if sure you wont have a problem

look on map and find the building, next find the nearest place you actually recognize to that building…and plan your travel from that building.
