How hard is it to get a 5 on these exams??

AP Chemistry (got the PR to help)
AP Pscyh (Got the 3rd edition of Barron's, using Myers' textbook, the essays scare me a bit)
AP Physics B (Got the PR to help)
AP Calculus AB (my teacher is good, but tells us this is going to be a hard course)

Chem - freaking easy.
Calculus AB - lolcakes easy.

No mention of others…?

My friend got a 4 on the Chem one…is it that easy…?

Chem - ok, mostly memorization.
Psych - I heard it’s a joke, super easy.
Phys B - lots of tricky thinking/ stuff to mess you up if you’re not careful. Other than that, manageable if you’re familiar with the concepts.

Chem - if you know the concepts, then u could do well. For me, it was moderately difficult. But I did received a 5.
Psych - I heard the test was easy too.
Calc AB - I know this was way easier than Chem. the first part multiple choice - mostly computation. so it was easy. second part - even though u use a graphing calc, most of the questions were difficult. FR was moderately easy. If you know calc really well, then u could get a 5.

Psychology is by far the easiest test on that list to get a 5 on. If your Calc teacher’s course is hard, that’s good. My school typically scores well below the national average for AP tests, but the juniors taking AB get almost exclusively 4’s and 5’s. Chem is a little more difficult, only 2/80 people at my school got a 5 on that test (then again, my school is notorious for having kids take AP tests and not do well on them) but it was the easiest AP test that I have taken, because I like Chem and knew the material really well.

Physics B is a monster. To this day, I don’t understand one of the magnetism topics. And, if your teacher does a shoddy job (mine did because of family issues), there is a tremendous amount of material you’ll have to master on your own.

For reference, I’ve 5’d all of these tests.

If you understand Calculus, Calc AB is really easy.

Physics B is harder - my school counselors say it is one of the hardest - I got a 5 but a lot of my friends didn’t, but we did not have that great of a teacher

AP Chem - I’m taking it right now, I heard it was hard though
AP Physics B - A tricky test, I am also taking it now and it doesn’t seem all that easy
AP Calc AB - Not that difficult, easier than BC, so it can’t be that hard
AP Psych - Haha, ya, use Barron’s and read it through and you have yourself I 5. I did that and did get a 5!

If they were easy, more than ~20% of the people taking the tests would do it. :)

Just a thought. :)

Chem-Don’t listen to others, it’s hard.
Psych-Pretty easy, memorization. I got a five self-studied.
Calc A/B not that hard but still work
Physics B-Pretty darn hard.

It depends on how much you study and how many other exams you’re taking. Psych is really easy, but I would say that to get a 5 on the others you need to study them a lot. Calc is definitely not terribly difficult if you have a knack for calculus, even if the class is hard for you. But for Chem and Physics B, you need to devote a lot of time and energy to do well. PR is pretty good for those. Don’t worry about the Psych essays. Just be thorough; they’re really not very in-depth or complicated topic-wise.

all of those are really easy. there’s never a question of “maybe itll be soemthing i know” cus those topics are easy.
