If you meet all of the requirements, do you have a pretty good chance? What are the requirements?

Thanks

I'm also interested in finding out information on this.

ASU is very generous with financial aid. The closest you will come to a full ride is the National Merit Scholarship, which just about covers tuition, books, fees, room, and board. It depends on what housing and meal plans you select, as well as the course and book load for the semester. For this and most other ASU scholarships, as long as you meet the requirements listed on the website, it will be offered to you. These requirements usually involve quantifiable data like high school GPA, class rank, etc, so it will be easy to tell if you qualify.

Most people don't know this, but the departments and organizations surrounding ASU are also very loose with financial aid. For example, the English department offers about dozen awards in the form of essay and creative writing contests, with prizes ranging from 100 to 5000 dollars. Look through the website of the department you are interested for more major specific scholarships.

However, the financial aid office can be a bit tricky. Double check to make sure you recieve your money every semester and the conditions for renewal. They are very understanding about resolving conflicts, etc, but their computer systems are notorious for crashing. Make sure to keep documentation of your award so that you provide physical proof of scholarships if necessary.
