How hard is it to get internships and co-op?

<p>I'm considering applying ED to Cornell, and one of my biggest considerations is with internships and co-op in engineering. What's the chances of getting these if you constantly search for opportunities? What if you don't necessarily have the best networking skills?</p>

<p>Also, is it possible to do a co-op and research and graduate within 4 years?</p>
