My son is looking at smu but was told it was very hard to get a bid from fraternities being out of state . Is this true ?
@tennesseevols not really an issue here if you want to get a bid as a person from out of state, there is a delayed rush to give you time to meet the guys and get a feel for where you want to go. It also allows the guys to get a feel for you. I have never run into a problem of someone not getting a bid because of where they are from. Its all based on how well you fit and how well you are perceived by the fraternity
