How hard is it to get into Berkeley CoE Industrial Engineering

i posted similar posts before but no one replied me. guess i posted them in the wrong place..

so i am applying to berkeley this year and i really want to get into its engineering school...some people told me that i could get in because i am an international student and some said that its impossible because my GPA is low and the courses i am taking do not really focus on science that much (i wanna double major in college so my courses are covering a lot of fields including arts, math, history and science..)

so im a boarding student in a private school on the east coast. my TOEFL score is 119. SAT superscore 2110. biology SAT II 760 and math II SAT 780.

took 4 APs in junior year: AP US history (4) AP Biology (5) AP Calculus (5) AP Stats (5)
and taking 3 APs in senior year: AP Art History AP Physics AP Psychology
and also multivariable calculs and Honors Art Studio

my school doesn't weight our GPA so my GPA is really really low...3.56. but i calculated A-G scale GPA. 4.1~4.2

so im just wondering if any past female applicants could chance me.. or at least tell me if you had the same background getting into berkeley. i dont know if being a female applicant is an advantage or a disadvantage.. and being an international student kinda puts me into an awkward situation since i actually study here.

my courses don't really show that i am interested in engineering but i really am.. how much does it really matter about the courses you are taking in high school???

i applied industrial engineering. is it hard to get in??

THANX SO MUCH!!

I would really like to know too!

Bumppppppp

um…can anyone help me pleaseeee?

Well ill answe what i know. They just calculate UC GPA which like u said it was 4.1… Which is all tht matters really. Its really good. You are an international which means more money for school= schools gives you a lil more preference, and you’ll bring diversity. Howwver it is quite important to have classes math and science based for engineering. Unless you have an extracurricular that focuses on math/science/engineering then u are good!

Im not sure how hard it is to get in, thats what i wanna know!
