How competitive is it and what is the average GPA/SAT scores, etc? What are they looking for in applicants?
BC doesn’t release acceptance rates/stats by school, so any answer to this would be pure guesswork. I think people tend to think that, on average, it is a bit easier to get into nursing than the school as a whole, but I’m not sure how well-informed or productive such opinions are. It is certainly not easy, as a review of results threads on this site will reveal.
Keep in mind that a successful nursing app should demonstrate one’s interest in the field and that the AdCom is likely to give more weight to science and possibly math coursework.
Perhaps someone else has more insider info.
At a BC info session, an admissions rep said the acceptance rate is within a point or 2 for all 4 schools.
