how hard is it to get into CALS?

STATS: <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=195284%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=195284</a></p>

i am very interested in applying either to Cornell's CALS (as an animal science major) or at the Arts and Sciences (as a biology major)

i have heard that the Arts and Sciences is harder to get into. i don't know much at CALS though...

thanks

if you want to do bio and you are an in-state student, you can save a lot of money in CALS.

bio and animal science are both top notch, competitive programs at cornell. "harder" is a very arbitrary adjective in this case, because as you've read 1000x if you read this board a decent amount, applying to the best fit is important at cornell. i think they let you apply to 2 colleges at cornell next year anyway, and if you apply to cals you pick a primary and seconday major to apply to, so either way you're kind of covered...
