How hard is it to get into Co-Operatives

<p>Coops refer to working rather than going to school for a semester (and often beginning the summer before if a fall semester or continuing the summer after if a spring semester). Very good chances junior and senior year if grades are good (3.2 or above). Not that good sophomore year. Essentially nil freshman year. Many of the employers look at coops as gaining a foothold on those they can retain after graduation, and in fact, many even require doing at least two semesters, one in junior and one in senior year, and most want students who already have basic training (the first two years of college).</p>
