I thought myself a pretty good candidate for wharton at penn, but got deferred ED. my second choice was always CSOM at BC, but I don’t know how hard it is to get in to.

well its definetly easier to get into then wharton is.. but still a great second choice!

i know that CSOM is a little more selective than the other 3 schools at BC, and almost impossible to transfer into from A&S or one of the others. the average SATs and GPAs are probably right around the same range as BC as a whole.

if you look through this board you can probably find more info on those exact stats. try looking at the EA board when acceptances start coming out. anything that is accepted or deffered EA has a good chance of being accepted RD.

last year i was accepted CSOM EA with a 2110 SAT, 3.8 weighted GPA, and very involved extra curriculars and a bunch of community service

I heard something about how BC is accepting very few students into CSOM this year because they ended up accepting too many freshman & transfer students into CSOM last year. Not sure if it's totally true, but just passing on what I heard.

What I heard was that they weren't accepting any transfers from CAS this year because (I assume) CSOM accepted too many freshman last year or something. I don't think it'll affect Freshman applications though.

If it means anything, I got deferred from Wharton ED and accepted into CSOM.

Alright that's inspiring. The only thing Im worried about is that they dont have any supplemental essays or questions so that means my common app essay means that much better.
