How Hard is it to get into Mcintire

Hi

I was just accepted as a sophomore transfer student to UVA. My intended major is pre-commerce. I was wondering how difficult/competitive it is to get into Mcintire as a junior? What the are prerequisites and what is the application process like?

@aftfl12 Congrats! My son also was accepted as a soph. transfer. 65-70 percent acceptance rate of internal transfers to mcIntyre. The web site and pre-comm blog has detailed info. ALso run the transfer credit analyzer to see which of your credits transfer from your previous institution. For example ECon micro and Macro is required. AP credits are only accepted if you received a 5, otherwise you get the credits but can’t use them toward the Commerce school. Good luck!
