How hard is it to get into UCLA with an Anthopology major?

<p>Hi guys, i want to get into anthropology at UCLA, Im transferring from a cc with a 3.8 gpa. Tell me what your gpa was if you got accepted. Is it easy to get into?</p>

<p>The average GPA for Anthropology transfers last year at UCLA was 3.57. I think you have really good shot at UCLA with a 3.8 considering that anthropology is not impacted. Honestly, I would be surprised if you don’t get in with a 3.8 if you finished your IGETC and pre-reqs…</p>

<p>Yeah I heard the same thing about Anthro at UCLA. I am trying for the same thing, although Berkeley is my first choice.</p>

<p>I have heard of people getting into Anthro with a 3.2. But then again, it is all just what people have “heard.”</p>

<p>I got in to both Ucla and Berkeley for anthropology with a 3.9 gpa from community college. I’d say you definitely have a chance.</p>
